Artist info
Karunesh is the Sanskrit word for 'compassion'. The artist now lives in Hawaii, but was born in Cologne, Germany. He started out as a graphic designer. After a near fatal motorcycle accident he was hovering between life and death for two weeks. This experience started off his spiritual journey, leading him to the Osho Ashram in India.
Musicians from all over the world came to the Ashram and Karunesh developed the ability to weave different styles and feelings into a living symbiosis of spiritual atmospheres and rhythms.
